How to send chat leads and tickets to HubSpot
Connect HubSpot to a SolveoAI agent so it creates contacts, deals, tickets, notes and tasks in your CRM from live conversations. Available on Pro and above.
Do this in order
Connect HubSpot to the agent
In the dashboard, open the agent, go to Actions, then Integrations, and click Connect on HubSpot. Authorize in the HubSpot popup. HubSpot is available on Pro and above; each agent has its own HubSpot credentials.
Turn on lead collection
Enable the lead collection action so the agent asks for a name and email at the right moment. The verified email is what HubSpot actions use to find or create the contact.
Enable the HubSpot actions you want
Choose from create contact, update contact, create deal, create ticket, create note and create task. A sales agent might enable contacts, deals and tasks; a support agent contacts, tickets and notes.
Keep escalation separate and test
A visitor asking for a person is routed by your escalation rules to the Live Chat queue, not to a HubSpot ticket. Run a test conversation, then check the contact in HubSpot for the deal or ticket and the attached note.
What the agent writes to HubSpot
| Visitor does | Agent does in HubSpot |
|---|---|
| Shares a name and email | Creates the contact, or finds the existing one by email |
| Asks for a quote or demo | Creates a deal linked to the contact and a follow-up task |
| Reports a problem for later | Creates a support ticket with a priority, linked to the contact |
| Asks where a ticket stands | Looks the ticket up by number |
| Ends the conversation | Attaches a note summarising it to the contact |
Contacts, deals, companies and tickets can be linked to one another by email and name; the agent never needs internal HubSpot IDs. Email changes are never made from chat. See the HubSpot integration page for the full capability list.
Sales agent or support agent?
Each agent has its own HubSpot connection and its own enabled actions, so a sales agent on your pricing page and a support agent on your help center can write different things to the same CRM. A typical split:
- Sales agent: create contact, create deal, update deal, create task, plus Calendly or Cal.com to book the demo.
- Support agent: create contact, create ticket, get ticket, create note, with escalation rules for anything urgent.
